Established in January 2010, Quiet City is a series of concerts in Vancouver focused on live performances of experimental, electronic, and improvised music in a comfortable and intimate setting. The sixtieth edition of this series will be featuring performances by:

Combining elements of electronic, industrial, experimental, ambient and pop, Carbolizer’s architect L. Adam Fox crafts immersive environments for his investigations of mortality, human and artificial intelligence, and other existential subjects. Fox is also the Director of Programs at National Music Centre in Calgary.

Evangelos Lambrinoudis is the head of experimental electronic label 'Deep Sea Mining Syndicate' based out of Calgary. He is also one half of the ambient/experimental group Sanctums, resident DJ and co-founder of the '80s & '90s hip-hop night Natural Selection, and dedicated hardware techno artist. He was the NMC Artist-in-Residence in 2017 and has performed on many stages such as Mutek, Shambhala, Sled Island, and many others.

Kiran Bhumber is a media artist, composer, musician, and educator based in Vancouver. Kiran constructs interactive installations and performance systems that allow performers and audiences to engage with themes relating to cultural memory, embodiment and nostalgia. She has performed and presented her works throughout North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia including conferences and festivals such as MUTEK, the International Symposium on Electronic Art, the Toronto International Electroacoustic Symposium, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, International Conference on Live Coding, and New Interfaces for Musical Expression. Kiran holds an MA in Media Arts, a certificate in World Performance Studies at the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia.

Long-running radio program Art of Beatz is celebrating 15 years on air and hundreds shows with over 600 guests ranging from internationally renowned talent like Kode 9 and Dr. Alex Paterson of The Orb to local legends and kids on the come up, literally getting their first sets in public, on the air. Broadcasting from the heart of East Vancouver every Thursday night at midnight on CFRO, Vancouver's Community Co-Op Radio at 100.5 FM, Art Of Beatz continues to deliver the best in electronic music from 0-200 BPM and beyond.
